The short version

This page covers how you can use this website, what happens when you buy something from it, and where the legal lines sit. Plain English where possible. If you hire me for a project, that work is governed by a separate written agreement, not this page.

1. Who this is

This website is operated by Renyx Design LLC, a web design studio based in Los Angeles, California. When these terms say “I” or “me,” that’s Renyx Design. When they say “you,” that’s anyone using this site.

By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.

2. Using this site

You can browse, read, and share links to anything here. You can’t:

  • Copy, scrape, or republish the content as your own
  • Use the site to do anything illegal
  • Attempt to break, probe, or overload the site
  • Use automated tools to harvest content or email addresses

3. Intellectual property

Everything on this site belongs to Renyx Design unless stated otherwise. That includes the copy, the design, the case studies, and the downloadable resources.

Client work shown in the portfolio and case studies is displayed with client permission. The metrics in case studies are real and pulled from actual analytics. Trademarks and brand assets belonging to clients remain theirs.

You can reference or link to my content. You can’t pass it off as yours or use it commercially without written permission.

4. Client services

The services described on this site are an overview, not a contract. Pricing shown is a starting point and depends on scope.

Actual client projects are governed by a written proposal and agreement signed by both parties. That agreement covers scope, payment terms, timelines, revisions, and deliverables, and it takes precedence over anything on this site.

5. Paid digital products and audits

If you purchase a website audit or a digital product through this site or a linked platform:

  • Audits: Once I’ve started the audit work, the fee is non-refundable. If something goes wrong before work begins, email me and we’ll sort it out.
  • Digital products: Because these are delivered instantly and can’t be returned, all sales are final. If a file is broken or you didn’t receive your download, email me and I’ll fix it. Payment processing is handled by third-party platforms. Their terms apply to the transaction itself.

6. Free resources and email

When you download a free resource like the Website Trust Checklist, you’ll be added to my email list. I’ll send you useful stuff about websites and occasionally tell you about my services. You can unsubscribe anytime with one click. No hard feelings.

7. No professional advice

The articles, resources, and audits on this site are general information based on my experience. They’re not legal, financial, or professional advice for your specific situation. What worked for one business may not work for yours. Use your judgment, and consult the right professional when it matters.

This site links to and uses third-party services (scheduling, email, payment, analytics). I don’t control those services and I’m not responsible for their content, availability, or how they handle your data. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

9. No warranties

This site is provided as-is. I work hard to keep everything accurate and online, but I can’t guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or that every piece of information will stay current forever.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Renyx Design LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or its content. If liability is found despite that, it’s capped at the amount you paid me through this site, if anything.

11. Privacy

How I collect and handle your data is covered in the Privacy Policy. Short version: I use analytics to understand site traffic and email tools to deliver resources you ask for. I don’t sell your data.

12. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms occasionally. The date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
