Consultant website design

Consultant website design that makes your thinking visible.

You sell expertise. Your website is the credential.

Websites for consultants and advisory firms whose thinking is worth more than their site suggests.

The gap between your work and your website

You charge for judgment. Your fee says "this person has figured something out." Then a prospect lands on a thin, generic website and quietly wonders whether that's true.

A consultant's website has to do something most sites don't. It has to make the thinking visible. Show the frameworks, the results, the point of view. When it doesn't, the site undercuts the fee, and you spend the first meeting rebuilding credibility you should have walked in with.

What I build for consultants

  • A site that makes your point of view obvious in the first scroll
  • Clear articulation of who you help and what changes when you do
  • Case studies and results that do the selling before you get on a call
  • Speaking and thought leadership presented properly, if that's part of how you get hired
  • A clear path for the two kinds of visitors you get: the buyer and the booker

Proof

Culture Shift Advisors needed a site that could book stages and close engagements. We built one with a dedicated page for meeting professionals, a downloadable speaker kit, and a clear path for consulting clients.

Not an agency

You could hire a big agency and get a polished site and a project manager you'll never meet. Or you could work with the one person who designs it, builds it, and picks up when you call. For a consultant, that's not a downgrade. It's the kind of relationship you already sell to your own clients.

More about me and how I work

What it costs

Three ways in, depending on how sure you are that the site is the problem.

  • The Website Audit

    $450

A written report on what is costing you trust and what to fix first. Credited toward a project if you hire me afterward.

  • The Statement Site

    From $6,000

Hand-built, yours forever, no monthly fee and nothing to log into. Most firms land here.

  • The Growth Site

    From $10,000

Everything above, plus a dashboard so your team can publish and edit without calling me.

Consultant website questions, answered

What should a consultant's website include?

Your point of view, made obvious in the first scroll. Then a clear statement of who you help and what changes when you do, results that do the selling before you get on a call, and one obvious way to start a conversation. Most consulting sites list services when they should be demonstrating thinking.

Can you redesign the site I have rather than rebuild it?

Sometimes. It depends on whether the problem is how the site looks or what it says. If your positioning is sharp and the site just looks dated, a redesign is the right call. If a visitor cannot tell what you do or why you are worth the fee, no amount of redesign fixes that, and I would rather rebuild it properly than charge you for a nicer version of the same problem.

Do I need a separate speaking page?

Only if speaking is genuinely part of how you get hired. If it is, yes, because a meeting planner and a prospective client are looking for completely different things and one page cannot serve both well. If you speak twice a year as a marketing activity, a section is enough.

How do I show results without a big client list?

You show the work, not the logos. A short account of a real problem, what you did, and what changed afterward is more convincing than a wall of client marks, and it does not require permission to name anyone. One specific story beats ten anonymous badges.

How much does a consulting firm website cost?

The Statement Site starts at $6,000 and the Growth Site starts at $10,000. Consultants who publish regularly usually want the Growth Site so they are not waiting on me to post an article. If you are not sure the site is the problem, start with the $450 Website Audit.

Can the site handle both consulting clients and speaking bookings?

Yes, and it should, as long as it is honest about the fact that they are two different visitors. I build a clear path for each one from the homepage so the buyer and the booker both find what they came for. What does not work is one generic contact form and hoping people sort themselves out.

Let your website do the first half of the sales conversation.

Consulting rebuilds start at $6,000. I take on two to three projects at a time, and I answer my own email.
