This is the plain-English version of what data this site collects and what happens to it. No legalese padding.

Who runs this site

Renyx Design LLC, a web design studio based in Los Angeles, California. If you have any question about your data, email paula@renyxdesign.com and a human answers.

What gets collected, and when

If you just browse: this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic. That means standard analytics data: pages visited, approximate location, device type, how you found the site. It does not personally identify you. You can block it with any standard ad or tracker blocker and the site works fine.

If you use the contact form or book a call: your name, email, and whatever you write. That goes to me and nowhere else. It’s used to reply to you.

If you use the free website grader: the website address you enter, the results of the analysis, and, if you request the full report, your email address and the type of firm you select. The website address you enter is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service to measure loading speed.

If you join the email list (through the grader or any signup form): your email address, stored in MailerLite, the email platform this site uses. You get what you signed up for plus occasional emails about website strategy for professional services firms. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing actually works.

What never happens

Your data is not sold. Not to anyone, not for any price. It’s also not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Who touches the data

A short list of services that process data on this site’s behalf:

• Netlify hosts this website
• Google provides analytics (GA4) and the PageSpeed measurement used by the grader
• MailerLite stores the email list and sends emails
• Calendly handles call scheduling if you book a call Each of these has its own privacy policy and security practices. None of them get more data than needed to do their job.

How long data is kept

Grader results are cached for 24 hours, then go stale. Lead and subscriber records are kept while they’re useful for running the business or until you ask for deletion, whichever comes first. Unsubscribed emails stop receiving anything immediately.

Your rights

If you’re a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request a copy of it, and to request its deletion. Honestly, those rights are extended to everyone regardless of where you live, because building two systems would be ridiculous.

To exercise any of them, email paula@renyxdesign.com. Requests are handled within 30 days, usually much faster.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for analytics (see above) and basic site function. No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. No data is knowingly collected from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. No silent edits.
